And the Argentine is one of them. The winger has been battling a vexing groin pain for some time. The pain has kept him out of action since February 15th: his last appearance for the Giallorossi came in the 2-2 draw against Napoli at the Maradona.
He doesn’t want to force his return, but today, Tuesday, March 24th, he allowed his coach to smile again after the tensions following Roma-Lecce. As reported by Il Tempo , Soulé has returned to training with his teammates at Trigoria. His goal is to secure at least a call-up for the big match against Inter in Milan on April 5th.
At Trigoria, where the players called up by their respective national teams bid farewell yesterday, Paulo Dybala, Manu Koné, Artem Dovbyk, and Evan Ferguson were absent. While the season is now over for the latter two, the Argentine and the Frenchman are working separately to return to Gasperini’s squad as soon as possible.
