Early last month, Belmont Hill School (Mass. ) received the news that then-head football coach Anthony Fucilo would be stepping away after three seasons. Less than a month and a half later, the Sextants have found Fucilo’s replacement moving forward.
According to an announcement on social media , Arlington (Mass. ) head coach Frank Roche announced he was stepping down from the school to accept the head coaching position at Belmont Hill School. Roche compiled a 17-15 record in his three seasons at the helm of the Spy Ponders’ football program.
“After 3 great years, I am stepping down as the Head Football Coach at Arlington High effective immediately and have accepted the Head Football Coach and Assistant AD position at Belmont Hill,” Roche said in his statement on X. “It was an honor to represent my hometown school and I’m extremely proud of what we were able to accomplish. I want to thank the parents for the opportunity to coach their kids and the players who have elevated the standard of Arlington Football.
