It’s almost like it was fate on Monday afternoon, as Notre Dame women’s basketball upset Ohio State to advance to the Sweet-16 for the fifth-consecutive season. The Irish entered the game as underdogs, and looked the part during the early portion of the game . Notre Dame responded extremely well, eventually taking a lead at the half and never giving it up.
While this might not be one of the most talented Irish teams during this impressive stretch, they once again showed that the program is still one of the best in the country.
