Ravens salary cap space after the first wave of free agency
Baltimore has $29.5M in cap space after the first wave of NFL free agency
Baltimore has made one high-profile signing and a handful of solid roster moves after Lamar Jackson and the Ravens agreed on a restructured contract that created nearly $40 million in salary cap space. Jackson has been working out in Florida and looks sharp after an injury-plagued 2025. The Ravens won't have to search for a backup quarterback after re-signing Tyler Huntley and releasing Cooper Rush.
The Ravens are expected to pick up Zay Flowers' $27. 3 million fifth-year option after back-to-back Pro Bowls. Rashod Bateman is under contract through 2029 and has been the subject of trade talks following an injury-filled 2025 season, and the team inked Trey Hendrickson on a three-year, $112 million deal.
After signing unrestricted free agent offensive lineman Jovaughn Gwyn and re-signing cornerback Chidobe Awuzie, safety Jaylinn Hawkins, outside linebacker Trey Hendrickson, tight end Durham Smythe, and guard John Simpson, the Baltimore Ravens have also extended quarterback Tyler Huntley's contract through 2027. As a result, the team now has $29,539,010 in cap space according to Over The Cap. Only the Titans, Commanders, Chargers, Cardinals, Jets, Patriots, Eagles, and Seahawks have more salary cap space entering the second wave of Free agency and ahead of next month's NFL draft in Pittsburgh.
