Dock Spiders seek host families for 2026 season in Fond du Lac

FOND DU LAC – The Fond du Lac Dock Spiders are seeking host families for the 2026 season, according to a community announcement. Host families are asked to provide housing, meals and support to collegiate players during the Northwoods League season. “Host families play a vital role in the success of the Dock Spiders,” said Dock Spiders General Manager Jim Misudek.
“They are essential to each player’s baseball journey, offering more than just a place to stay — host families build lasting bonds and lifelong memories. Their passion, commitment and generosity make our community truly special. We are incredibly grateful for their support, which makes Fondy’s host family program the finest in the Northwoods League.
” What's expected of host families? Host families must have a separate bedroom for the player and be able to host from late May through mid-August. The program offers several benefits to host families, including complimentary tickets for immediate family members, host family events, a 15% discount in the Team Store and all giveaway items distributed during the season, according to the announcement.
Families interested in the program can complete a form available on the Dock Spiders' website . The Dock Spiders will begin their 10th season of Northwoods League play in the spring.
