James Guillory-Imagn Images Tuesday, the Carolina Hurricanes will complete their three-game road trip as they face the Montreal Canadiens at the Bell Centre. The game is scheduled for 7:00 PM EDT. In the Hurricanes’ Sunday afternoon game against the Pittsburgh Penguins, they delivered a strong performance in their 5-1 win over the Metropolitan Division’s second-place team.

The game saw a three-point game from Seth Jarvis, a trio of power play goals, a perfect penalty kill, and best yet – a complete game in several key aspects. You can read all about it here ! Meanwhile, the Canadiens will go into Tuesday’s game rested following a two-day break between games.

In their previous game, they gave a 7-3 thrashing to the New York Islanders, including a hat-trick from Cole Caufield. The win came as a boost to the Canadiens, who are currently gripping onto the third Atlantic Division spot and are too close for comfort with the wild card Boston Bruins, who also hold 86 points in the standings. In the Crease If the alternating tandem continues, Brandon Bussi should get the start for the Hurricanes.

However, if the Hurricanes are steered by record, Frederik Andersen would get the crease. Andersen has a strong 15-5-2 record against the Canadiens throughout his career, and is 5-1-0 just with the Hurricanes. Meanwhile, Bussi’s worst game statistically was the January 1st match against them.

As for the Canadiens, they have leaned heavily on Jakub Dobes in the recent stretch. Additionally, Jacob Fowler started the last game. Dobes will likely be the man in net for Montreal versus Carolina.
