Yahoo Sports

Pittsburgh Penguins prospect Will Horcoff will play in the NCAA Tournament starting this week.

Pittsburgh Penguins forward prospect Will Horcoff had a tremendous regular season for the University of Michigan. He helped Michigan bring home the Big Ten title, finishing the regular season with 24 goals and 37 points in 37 games. He also played for the U.

S. World Junior team, recording one goal and two points in five games. Now, he'll try to help Michigan win an NCAA title after the team qualified for the NCAA Tournament.

Michigan will play in the Albany Regional on Friday and has the top seed in the semifinals. Michigan is set to face Bentley, while Minnesota Duluth will play Penn State. If Michigan wins, it would play the winner of that Minnesota Duluth-Penn State game in the Regional Final on Sunday.

Whoever wins that game will advance to the Frozen Four. It's a heck of an opportunity for Horcoff, who is in his freshman season at Michigan. He has scored a lot of big goals this season, so let's see if he can score a few more this week and potentially into the Frozen Four.
