After three seasons and three TSSAA football playoff appearances, Stratford has fired Anthony Law as coach.
After three years at the helm, Stratford football coach Anthony Law was fired by the school on March 23, Law confirmed to The Tennessean. "They told me they decided to go in a different direction," he said. "I was informed about 1:30 (p.
m. ). I wouldn't say it caught me by surprise.
There's always a possibility in this line of work. But I guess it was just my time. My time was up.
" Law finished the 2025 season with a 3-7 record, reaching the Class 3A state playoffs before losing to Fairview 42-21. "Listen, I had the opportunity to coach some great young men at Stratford," he said. "They were some great kids.
