March Madness: Sweet 16 round will be a rematch for Texas, Kentucky basketball teams
Texas and Kentucky will meet at Fort Worth's Dickies Arena at 2 p. m. on Saturday afternoon in a Sweet 16 game that will be televised by ABC.
The Longhorns beat Kentucky back in February.
On Monday, Texas women's basketball found out that its Sweet 16 matchup will be a rematch and not a reunion. Texas has drawn Kentucky as its opponent in the third round of the NCAA Tournament. Kentucky, which plays alongside Texas in the SEC , advanced to the Sweet 16 with Monday's 74-73 win over West Virginia, which was UT's former foe in the Big 12.
