Cincinnati hiring Jerrod Calhoun from Utah State as men's basketball coach, per reports

Calhoun is a Cincinnati alum, beginning his coaching career as a student assistant for Bob Huggins.

Ten days after firing Wes Miller, Cincinnati has reportedly hired a new men’s basketball coach. Jerrod Calhoun, who coached Utah State to two consecutive NCAA tournament berths, will take over the Bearcats program, according to multiple reports. The school has not yet officially announced the hiring, but is expected to this week.
