The celebration of the USA's Bicentennial in 1976 saw many great sports moments take place during the year.

With the 250th anniversary of the United States in 2026, there have been a lot of throwbacks to the bicentennial in 1976. That was the 200th anniversary of the country and there were all sorts of celebrations to mark it and memories created. The sports universe was no different as plenty happened and big names were involved.
