Utah and Utah State agree to new home-and-home football series

Allred, Deseret News Utah will face Utah State at Maverik Stadium in Logan in 2031 as part of a new home-and-home football series between the Utes and Aggies. As part of the agreement, Utah State will travel to Salt Lake City to play Utah on Sept. 1, 2033.
Utah’s previously scheduled 2031 game against the Aggies at Rice-Eccles Stadium has been moved to 2030. Utah has made the trip to Logan just twice in the past 15 years, beating the Aggies 38-31 in 2024 and losing 27-20 in overtime in 2012. Utah is 80-29-4 all-time against Utah State.
