The Eagles are showing serious interest in one of college football’s top edge rushers

The Philadelphia Eagles are hosting one of college football’s top edge rushers for a pre-draft visit. The Eagles will welcome Texas Tech edge rusher Romello Height for a top-30 prospect visit, according to a Monday report from NFL draft analyst Ryan Fowler . Height is the Eagles’ fifth top-30 visit that has surfaced.

PennLive reported last week that Penn State offensive lineman Vega Ioane and edge rusher Dani Dennis-Sutton will visit. Indiana wide receiver Omar Cooper Jr. and South Carolina cornerback Jalon Kilgore are also of interest.

Teams can bring up to 30 players in for a formal visit as a way to get to know the player better. Local prospects (from a town inside a 50-mile radius) do not count toward that top-30 total. Height will count toward that total.
