PHILADELPHIA -- The Philadelphia 76ers will see a familiar face when they welcome the Oklahoma City Thunder into town on Monday night. The defending champion Thunder acquired second-year guard Jared McCain from the Sixers at the deadline back in February and McCain will look to have a successful return while Philadelphia look to keep him in check. McCain averaged 10.
0 points and shot 38. 1% from deep as a member of the Sixers. He is currently averaging 12.
3 points and shooting 44% from deep for the Thunder and is fitting in nicely on his new team. Justin Edwards, a fellow second-year player alongside McCain, is excited to see his former teammate. "Itโs gonna be good," Edwards beamed at shootaround on Monday morning.
"Weโre gonna have chapel at 60:00 on the clock jokes, but Iโm happy for him, honestly. Heโs over there and doing really well. " With that being said, Edwards hasn't had much time to really watch McCain and keep tabs on him as he needs to focus on what's going on with the Sixers, but he is happy to know he is playing well.
