Baseball America sees Florida State as a contender in recent top 25 poll
The FSU Seminoles won their series against NC State, and are staying inside the top 10 of the newest Baseball America poll.
Florida State baseball is off to a strong start overall and an even stronger start to begin ACC play. With an overall record of 19-4 and a conference record of 5-1, the Seminoles look poised to continue their stretch of dominance and preparation for the College World Series, as well as in the ACC Tournament. Baseball America's top 25 rankings seem to agree with this sentiment, as in their rankings, Florida State remains inside the top 10.
Last week, Florida State was ranked No. 10 nationally, and they remain there this week, sandwiched between No. 9 Virginia (20-5) and No.
11 North Carolina (20-4-1). They impressed Jacub Rudner with their response after losing Friday's game against NC State. It briefly looked like Florida State might be in for a tight battle with then-No.
12 NC State after a 6-4 loss Friday, but Link Jarrettโs club removed any doubt, outscoring the Wolfpack 26-10 over the next two games to take the series. The Seminoles have now won six of their last 12 games by run rule. Perhaps this will be the year everything comes together for the Seminoles.
