The organization officially signed offensive lineman James Hudson III to a one-year contract on Monday, as first reported by NFL Mediaโ€™s Ian Rapoport .

Hudson, 26, has appeared in 60 career games since entering the NFL in the fourth round of the 2021 draft class at No. 110 overall. The former Michigan Wolverine and Cincinnati Bearcat spent his rookie contract with the Cleveland Browns before reaching a two-year pact with the New York Giants as an unrestricted free agent last offseason.

He was released prior to the start of the new league year. A veteran of 19 starts, Hudson stands with 1,464 snaps on offense and 235 snaps on special teams. The 6-foot-5, 313-pounder has split time between left and right tackle.

In addition, he has reported as eligible both at fullback and tight end through his AFC North and NFC East stops.
