Brighton & Hove Albion boss Vidošić pleased with attitude and fight in goalless draw
Brighton & Hove Albion boss Vidošić pleased with attitude and fight in goalless draw Brighton & Hove Albion head coach Dario Vidošić was impressed by his side’s attitude and fight as The Seagulls battled out a goalless draw with Liverpool at Broadfield Stadium on Sunday afternoon. Both sides had chances to win the game, but were left frustrated as the spoils were shared in Sussex. Despite the stalemate, Brighton & Hove Albion boss Vidošić saw positives in his side’s performance.
“I think, again, really good, it’s a positive point,” Vidošić said when speaking to the media after the match. “One that we’ll probably feel a little bit frustrated with. We had enough sort of good chances [that] didn’t result in a shot.
“Without really having the last shot on goal, we were in some really good positions. It felt like that last pass was just letting us down. ” Commenting on the positives, Vidošić hailed his side’s attitude and fight to keep chipping away.
He said “We defended well. Also, just the attitude and the fight right until the end. It’s never easy when you play Chelsea and we had to play them on our midweek, away from home.
We had one session to prepare for Liverpool, who are in good momentum. They strengthened very well in January. “We knew what was at stake.
