He plays in the CHL currently for the Edmonton Oil Kings. And the 20-year old center is definitely on the rise. His improvements have been notable enough that prospect guru Steven Ellis of Daily Faceoff shouted out Holinka in a new article on Monday.
"The Oil Kings are a scary group โ and Holinka has been a big reason why," Ellis writes. "He finished with just less than a point per game a year ago and nearly doubled his offense as a 20-year-old. The Czech forward isnโt flashy, but heโs fully capable of getting the puck where it needs to be.
