NFL analyst says Ty Simpson best quarterback in the NFL draft

The debate on who is the best quarterback in this year’s NFL Draft took a new turn Monday. ESPN’s Dan Orlovsky finally said what many may be thinking: Alabama’s Ty Simpson is the best quarterback in the draft. Better than Heisman winner Fernando Mendoza.

“I think Ty Simpson is the best quarterback in this class,” he said Monday morning on “Get Up. ” I think when you look at the body of work, what was asked of these two quarterbacks, you have to start with the question: who needed to do more to carry their football team? Ty Simpson, and it's not close between those two quarterbacks.

Orlovsky has been watching film on both and concluded Simpson was better at a few things.
