Duke's Caydeon Boozer recently revealed his NBA inspiration, choosing an 18-year NBA veteran due to his hard work on the floor.

Towards the end of the collegiate basketball season, Duke guard Cayden Boozer has begun to shine, entering the starting lineup to replace Caleb Foster. Boozer put the Blue Devils on his back to finish the ACC Tournament and then posted a new career high, 19 points, in the Round of 64 against Siena. Although his scoring has increased recently, Boozer has shown tremendous effort on both sides of the ball all season long, just like one of his favorite NBA players.

In a recent interview, Boozer revealed who that was, citing his hard work and selfless attitude on the court. โ€œI think one of my favorite players is Russell Westbrook,โ€ Cayden said . โ€œI just feel like heโ€™s always been a really elite player, plays really hard and just does whatever his team needs him to do.

โ€ Beginning the season as a sixth man, Boozer has quickly made the transition to a starter, even leading the team in minutes played versus TCU in the Round of 32. As the NCAA Tournament continues for Duke Friday, Boozer will hope to provide whatever is needed of him once more, just like 18-year NBA veteran Russell Westbrook, who's known to stuff the stat sheet.
