Here's the Brewers' Opening Day weather forecast for Thursday
When the Brewers start the 2026 baseball season Thursday, March 26 at American Family Field, temperatures may be in the 60s.
The weather in Milwaukee seems to be trying to warm up for the start of baseball season. Highs are expected to be in the low to mid-60s for the Milwaukee Brewers ' Opening Day game against the Chicago White Sox the afternoon of Thursday, March 26, said JJ Wood, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Milwaukee/Sullivan . However, Wood said that temperature prediction is subject to change, depending on where exactly a low-pressure system expected to move through southeastern Wisconsin ends up.
"We'll have a better idea by mid-week what the temperatures might be," he said. That low-pressure system also may bring some rain โ meaning it's possible Opening Day at American Family Field will have a closed roof. "If it comes a little further north, we get a little milder, and there may be better chances for some showers and maybe even some thunderstorms.
If it goes south, it will just be mainly some light rain," Wood said. As of the start of the week, Wood said there's about a 30% chance of rain during the late morning and afternoon hours March 26. He said he would advise anyone planning on attending the game to prepare for that possibility, and to stay updated with the forecast.
The Brewers' home opener starts at 1:10 p. m. March 26.
