Enzo Fernández laughs off Real Madrid rumors

And they are here to stay, and they’re not even taking their shoes off.
Spanish media are already quite convinced that Enzo wants to move to Real Madrid. After all, if you’re a Spanish newspaper, there could be no highest honor. Real might not be able to afford such a move in the first place — and if they still have a bit of PTSD from their Eden Hazard deal, they certainly shouldn’t be blamed for their caution — while the word out of Chelsea is that everything’s hunky-dory and we’re all just happy as can be.
Of course, Enzo’s now out in the wild, having joined up with the Argentina national team for two absolutely meaningless friendlies because what he desperately needs are more minutes and travel in his legs after practically playing non-stop for the past two years, and that also means more microphones and more cameras to keep asking the same questions. Fresh off the plane in Buenos Aires, he was asked about the Real Madrid rumors specifically, which he promptly denied with a laugh. ( Here’s the video ; the question’s at around the 35-second mark.
) “No, honestly, nothing. Zero talks. Now we’re focused on Chelsea and what’s left of the last few games this season and then we’ll see after the World Cup.
