The Philadelphia Flyers remain in the thick of the NHL playoff race, but team president Keith Jones offered a measured view of their chances. Speaking recently on the WIP Morning Show, Jones admitted uncertainty while praising the team’s recent push. When asked directly about the playoffs, he responded, “I have the same question, but we’re gonna push that, that’s for sure.

” The Flyers built momentum with a strong 9-2-1 run since late February. That surge has kept them competitive in the Metropolitan Division despite an up-and-down season, and Jones credited the group’s effort. “They’ve shown signs of a team that’s coming together, fighting for each other, you know, stepping in for one another, blocking a shot for somebody, killing a penalty that might not have been the best penalty, and then in the last game, scoring a power play goal, which would go a long way to really helping us. ” Philadelphia’s recent form backs up his comments. The team completed a three-game West Coast sweep with a 4-1 win over the San Jose Sharks .

Christian Dvorak led the way with a goal and an assist, while Dan Vladar made 24 saves. Contributions from Owen Tippett, Travis Sanheim, and Noah Cates sealed another important win. “So they’re working hard, they are working together,” Jones said.
