The Pittsburgh Steelers are looking to LSU as news of their latest top-30 pre-draft visit has been confirmed. According to NFL Draft expert Ryan Fowler , the Steelers are bringing in standout LSU linebacker Harold Perkins Jr. for a pre-draft visit .
He added that Perkins is also set to visit with the Los Angeles Chargers. One of the fastest linebackers in his draft class, Perkins played four seasons at LSU, recording 220 combined tackles, 35. 5 tackles for loss, 10 passes defended, five interceptions, and eight forced fumbles in 43 games.
Perkins, standing at 6 feet 1 inch and weighing 223 pounds, is projected to be drafted in the late second to early third round. But some draft predictions have him sliding into the fourth round as well. Capable of lining up as an edge rusher or inside linebacker, Perkins would be an excellent Day 2 pickup for the Steelers given his versatility.
