It begins at 14:00 CET (13:00 GMT) at Italy’s training centre in Coverciano.
Gattuso has called up 28 players, but Federico Chiesa pulled out of the squad on Monday morning and was replaced by Bologna’s Nicolò Cambiaghi. The likes of Alessandro Bastoni, Gianluca Mancini and Gianluca Scamacca must be assessed as they arrived at Coverciano with physical issues. Italy will face Northern Ireland in the World Cup play-off semifinal in Bergamo on Thursday, March 26. If they progress to the final, they’ll visit either Wales or Bosnia and Herzegovina. Italy players will train here at Coverciano later today at 17:00 CET.
