The San Francisco 49ers have six picks in the first four rounds of the 2026 NFL draft: One in each of the first two rounds and then four in the fourth round after trading their third-round pick for Dallas Cowboys defensive lineman Osa Odighizuwa. While the 49ers pick late in all of these rounds, they can still do some damage to shore up areas of need and position themselves nicely for the 2026 season. NFL.
com's Chad Reuter went through the first four rounds of the draft and picked players for every team. He skewed offense for the 49ers after taking three consecutive players on that side of the ball and going picking two defensive players. Here are Reuter's picks for the 49ers: Round 1, Pick No.
27: Utah OT Caleb Lomu Round 2, Pick No. 58: Notre Dame RB Jadarian Price Round 4, Pick No. 127: Mississippi State WR Brenen Thompson Round 4, Pick No.
133: Alabama EDGE LT Overton Round 4, Pick No. 138: Boston College OT Jude Bowry Round 4, Pick No. 139: Duke CB Chandler Rivers The first one is all about the future, as Lomu would be the clear replacement for Trent Williams as early as 2026 but more likely the long-term plan at the position.
