The Minnesota Vikings and Seattle Seahawks have been named possible trade suitors for an explosive Pro Bowl running back who tallied over 1,800 yards from scrimmage last season.

After the Miami Dolphins traded Jaylen Waddle to the Denver Broncos , the feeling is that all bets are off when it comes to the rest of the Dolphins' roster being available for trade.

The big name mentioned in the wake of the Waddle trade was running back De'Von Achane, who is coming off a Pro Bowl season that saw him tally over 1,800 yards from scrimmage and 12 total touchdowns. ESPN's Adam Schefter has reported that the Dolphins aren't interested in trading the electric running back, but we heard a lot of that previously with Waddle. Now, that's not to say the Dolphins are going to give him away, but if a team comes with a strong enough deal as the Broncos deal for Waddle, it's conceivable general manager Jon-Eric Sullivan might be willing to move Achane.

Why Vikings, Seahawks make sense for Achane In an article naming landing spots for Achane, NFL Trade Rumors' Logan Ulrich pegged the Minnesota Vikings and Seattle Seahawks as possible trade suitors. This makes sense because both teams have less-than-inspiring running backs rooms right now. Minnesota has a duo of Aaron Jones and Jordan Mason, which is a no good because Jones is 31 and coming off an injury-plagued season and Mason doesn't offer much beyond his between-the-tackles running.

The Seahawks don't have a sure starter in a room that includes Zach Charbonnet, Emanuel Wilson, George Holani and Kenny McIntosh, and Charbonnet may not even be ready for the start of the season after suffering a torn ACL in the postseason. Vikings, Seahawks trade proposals for Achane For the Vikings, Ulrich proposes a trade that includes Jordan Addison, Aaron Jones and a pick swap that would move Miami from the fourth to the third round in the upcoming draft. This is not a proposal the Dolphins would take.
