Three straight Mountain Ridge errors in the sixth allowed Fort Hill (1-0-1) to score three runs and tie the game. Bobby Brauer led the Sentinel lineup going 3 for 4 with three doubles and three runs scored. Jake Rice and Coye Resh had two RBIs apiece, and Bender singled twice.

Resh picked up the win with a scoreless seventh inning. Brauer was dealt a no-decision after he allowed six runs (four earned) on seven hits in six frames. He struck out 10 and walked five.
