McGregor hasn’t fought in nearly five years but is in talks to return at UFC 329 in July for International Fight Week.

It’s still unclear whether the UFC will pony up the money needed to make that happen now that the pay-per-view era is over, but everyone involved is working hard to make something happen. Who it will happen with is still an open question and thus far we haven’t liked the answers leaking from UFC headquarters. Since the promotion ditched Michael Chandler as an opponent, they’ve offered Carlos Prates as a possible opponent.

Now Dana White has floated Ian Machado Garry. Neither match-up is particularly exciting, which is on par for the promotion’s current matchmaking. Max Holloway wants to settle the score with Conor McGregor after his loss to Charles Oliveira "Conor got one over me.

He's talking about coming back, I'm coming off a loss. If he doesn't want to cut weight, then I don't wanna cut weight. We can do it at any weight, it's just… pic.
