NFL free agency: Arizona Cardinals given very average grades

Yahoo Sports

The Arizona Cardinals are largely done in free agency. PFF gives them a grade.

The Arizona Cardinals have likely made their most important moves in free agency already. They have added talent, albeit lower-end mostly, to a lot of positions, mostly giving depth to areas of need. We gave grades to most of the moves already, and most were pretty average.

PFF graded every teams' work in free agency . What did the Cardinals get? Arizona Cardinals free agency grades PFF gave the Cardinals a very boring C-plus, which is understandable.

I gave the Cardinals Bs for two grades and the rest were mostly Cs, so this tracks. They assigned contract value to a few players: RB Tyler Allgeier: Average value OL Isaac Seumalo: Above average value WR Kendrick Bourne: Average value S Andrew Wingard: Average value The Cardinals have done nothing really noteworthy. Last offseason, they signed Josh Sweat, Calais Campbell and Dalvin Tomlinson, all more splashy moves.

This year, outside the decent deals to Allgeier and Seumalo, it has been boring additions that don't really make the roster better. The C-plus grade is fair and warranted.
