Oklahoma Sooners quarterback commit set to attend ChampU BBQ event
OU quarterback pledge Jamison Roberts will attend the ChampU BBQ in June.
The Oklahoma Sooners earned a commitment from their preferred quarterback prospect in the 2027 recruiting class earlier this month , during the " Future Freaks " weekend event. Now, it looks like OU will be getting him back on campus this summer to have him try to help Oklahoma add to the nation's top class thus far. Saraland High School QB Jamison Roberts pledged to the Sooners on March 7th, and the Mobile, Alabama product gives Oklahoma a quarterback in the '27 class to build around.
He's a four-star prospect according to Rivals, and he measures it at 6-foot-3 and 190 pounds. Roberts' commitment helps OU further stabilize the future of the QB position under offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach Ben Arbuckle, and now the signal-caller can also help Oklahoma add some other priority targets in his class. Roberts will be attending Oklahoma's ChampU BBQ weekend event from June 12th-14th, where he'll surely be looking to help recruit prospects to come join him in Norman.
While the Sooners have already done great work on the trail so far to build the current No. 1 class in the country, general manager Jim Nagy and head coach Brent Venables still have a number of targets that they want to get in the boat. šā¼ļø- Who is going to join me and the #1 class (2027) in the nation?
