The Crimson Tide cruised to a 90-65 blowout win over Texas Tech to officially wrap up the second round of the NCAA tournament on Sunday night in Tampa, Florida.

The win sends Alabama into the Sweet 16 for the fourth straight season and the fifth time in six years in what’s been a strong stretch for the longtime football powerhouse. This game was Alabama’s from the jump. Texas Tech, still playing without star JT Toppin after his ACL injury last month, never really stood much of a chance.

The Red Raiders made just 10 combined field goals in the first 20 minutes. Draft your Yahoo Fantasy Baseball team for the 2026 MLB Season By then, the contest was over. Alabama simply held on the rest of the way in the second half to secure the win.
