Michigan State basketball opponent, time, TV channel set for Sweet 16

Michigan State basketball knows when it will be playing, and now it also knows its opponent in the Sweet 16 in Washington on Friday night.

Michigan State basketball now knows its opponent for the Sweet 16 in the 2026 NCAA Tournament , more than 24 hours after beating Louisville in the second round, 77-69, on Saturday, March 21. The 3-seed Spartans know they will play the 2-seed Connecticut Huskies in the East Regional semifinal on Friday, March 27, at Capital One Arena in Washington. They also know, as the NCAA announced the tip times a bit before the end of UConn's game vs.

UCLA, that they'll be playing at 9:45 p. m. on CBS, with Ian Eagle, Bill Raftery, Grant Hill and Tracy Wolfson on the broadcast team.
