The Denver Broncos will not have a selection until the latter part of the second round in the 2026 NFL Draft due to the recent trade to acquire Jaylen Waddle, but general manager George Paton has navigated that exact scenario just fine in the past.

Good value can still be found and Paton has done that by taking Nik Bonitto in the second round in 2022 and Marvin Mims Jr. in the second round in 2023. Both of those picks were made near the end of the round.

Both of those players have made the Pro Bowl. If you were to list the biggest positions of need for the Broncos heading into April's draft, there is a good chance you would jot down inside linebacker, tight end and defensive line.
