Jalen Williams injury update: OKC Thunder star available to return for vs 76ers
OKC Thunder forward Jalen Williams is available to make his return in a road game against the Philadelphia 76ers at 6 p. m. CT Monday.
Williams missed the last 16 games due to a right hamstring strain . It was the latest in a series of setbacks for the 24-year-old forward, who missed the first 19 games of the season due to a right shooting wrist injury and another 10 games due to the same hamstring injury . While his shooting splits have dropped, Williams has remained effective when on the floor.
He's averaging 17. 5 points and 5. 4 assists this season in addition to being an elite defender.
Williams now rejoins an OKC team (56-15) that's on a 11-game winning streak. He'll have 11 regular-season games to ramp up before the start of the playoffs.
