It may be the offseason, but this is Philadelphia Eagles general manager Howie Roseman’s busy time. Always active in free agency and on the trade market, Roseman has made several additions on the margins. But the Eagles haven’t swung a big deal.

Yet. Perhaps the biggest move the Eagles have made is signing wide receiver Hollywood Brown. But the Eagles have a bigger acquisition in mind; we just don’t know if they’ll be able to pull it off yet.

According to The Athletic ‘s Zach Berman , the Eagles still have “interest” in trading for Pro Bowl pass-rusher Jonathan Greenard from the Vikings. “Edge rusher is a big position to watch, even with Ebiketie. Greenard is challenging to predict because it requires compensation in a trade and with a new deal, but the interest is present.

” The Athletic’s Zach Berman on Jonathan Greenard/Eagles Greenard reportedly wants a contract adjustment, two years after inking a four-year, $76 million deal with the Vikings as a free agent. Yet, like the Eagles, the Vikings are tight against the budget, and Greenard recorded just three sacks while missing five games due to injury last season. For now, Greenard has a $22.

1 million cap hit for 2026. He’ll turn 29 in May, but is also just one year removed from recording 12 sacks for the second consecutive season. The Vikings are said to be seeking at least a Day 2 draft pick in return.
