The latest win leaves Fischer’s team undefeated in seven matches on-the-trot. Nine points collected from their last five league fixtures push Mainz up to 11th place in the Bundesliga table on 30 points.
The generally accepted “Bundesliga Safety Threshold” is well within reach with seven matchdays remaining.
