It's safe to say that if a starter gets injured, the Red Sox are in good shape. They have Masataka Yoshida, Jarren Duran, Roman Anthony, Wilyer Abreu and Ceddanne Rafaela. All five are capable of being everyday players, but there are only three outfield spots and a designated hitter spot.

Of the five, Yoshida came into spring training at the most risk of losing playing time. Rafaela and Abreu will start almost every game in center field and right field. Duran and Anthony are expected to share left field and the designated hitter spot.

However, the problem, if it can even be called that, is that all five have had great springs. Yoshida's strong offseason has given Alex Cora a very tough decision to make. Yoshida is not known as a great defender, but he played solid defense in the World Baseball Classic.
