Maxence Lacroix earns first senior France call-up to replace Arsenal’s William Saliba Crystal Palace centre-back Maxence Lacroix (25) has replaced Arsenal’s William Saliba (24) in Didier Deschamps’ 25-man squad for Les Bleus’ upcoming US tour, according to RMC Sport . Lacroix is called up by Les Bleus for the first time in his career. Saliba has reportedly sustained a left ankle injury.
Les Bleus will get an early feel of America before the 2026 World Cup with a couple of friendly games held on the Eastern seaboard. First, Les Bleus will face Carlo Ancelotti’s Brazil at Foxborough’s Gillette Stadium on Thursday 26 March. Then, France will play Colombia at Landover’s Northwest Stadium on Sunday 29 March.
