Tight end? Defensive end? The offseason projections seemingly never end.
According to NFL. com’s Chad Reuter, the Seahawks select Tennessee cornerback Colton Hood with the No. 32 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.
“After starting his college career at Auburn, Hood transferred from Colorado to Tennessee before last season and was thrust into a starting role because of Jermod McCoy's injury,” Reuter said. “The Seahawks lacked a stopper outside of Devon Witherspoon in their cornerback room last year, so this is a perfect fit. ” Hood recorded one interception as well as eight passes defensed in 2025.
