According to a new report from ESPN's Peter Thamel and Jeff Borzello, Syracuse University is preparing to name Gerry McNamara its next head coach of men's basketball.
Thamel and Borzello wrote that a deal is expected in the coming days. The Orange parted ways with Adrian Autry after three seasons that produced no NCAA Tournament appearances, a 49-48 overall record, and back-to-back losing campaigns for the first time in decades.
