Drew Fortescue Signs With New York Rangers

Drew Fortesue signed a three-year entry level contract with the New York Rangers on Saturday, ending his career at Boston College after his junior season. The #NYR have signed defenseman Drew Fortescue to a three-year, entry-level contract. Details → https://t.

He was a strong defensive presence for all of his three seasons at BC and showed a bit of an offensive touch in his junior year, posting a career best 14 points in 36 games. Over the course of his three seasons, Fortescue played in 112 games, scoring eight goals and adding 25 assists in that time. He also represented the United States in the World Junior Championship in both his freshman and sophomore seasons.

Fortescue was selected in the third round by the Rangers back in 2023 and will now begin his professional career. Best of luck to Drew going forward!
