5 WWE Stars In Jeopardy Of Missing WrestleMania 42

WWE has penciled in WrestleMania 42 matches for most of its major stars, but even top acts like LA Knight have no clear rivalry set.

Since 2020, WrestleMania has taken place across two nights (Saturday and Sunday) with a ballpark range of 12 to 16 matches total.

This year, WWE is reportedly expected to host a total of at least 14 matches at WrestleMania 42, which should give most of the company’s prominent stars a significant match either on Saturday or Sunday. Still, given recent creative developments across Raw and SmackDown, the call-ups of several NXT stars and the expected celebrity involvement from country singer Jelly Roll, there is no such thing as a sure thing for a significant portion of the roster. In fact, in terms of getting a spot on WrestleMania 42, much of WWE’s loaded roster will likely be left off the show altogether.
