Of course, it helps when you have franchise legends returning to TD Garden to support the team, which is precisely what former center Robert Parish did for the team's 120-99 win over the Golden State Warriors on Mar. 18. Parish enjoyed a historic 21-year playing career, the majority of which was spent in Boston.

However, in his final season, Parish latched on with the Chicago Bulls, who were still being led by Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen and Dennis Rodman. Even though he didn't play much, Parish refused to back down from his younger teammates, and as it turns out, Jordan and Pippen didn't take too kindly to Parish's practice antics. "I said, 'Scottie, Michael, how did that a** whooping feel?

' Michael took it personal,โ€ Parish said on โ€œThe Cedric Maxwell Podcast. โ€ โ€œI played with some of the baddest motherf***ers in the NBA. I went with Larry (Bird), Kevin (McHale), Cedric (Maxwell), Bill Walton, Tiny Archibald, and I supposed to be in awe and impressed with you?
