It was a night that wasn’t filled with highlights for UFC’s return to London. Michael ‘Venom’ Page’s decision win over Ian Machado Garry stood out as an underwhelming moment, with fans booing after 15 minutes of little action.
While Page’s fight failed to capture attention, every fan was tuned in for Nathaniel Wood vs. Daniel Pineda. The two put on an all-time classic, giving Wood his fourth straight win and marking Pineda’s first loss since returning to the featherweight division in 2020.

The fight turned when Jones connected with a knee that opened up a deep cut under Sola’s right eye. After the bout, Dana White posted photos on his Instagram story showing the extent of Sola’s injury and the treatment he received.
The $100,000 bonus marked Sola’s first post-fight award, while Jones has now picked up back-to-back bonuses following his Performance of the Night win over Bolaji Oki last September. Jones also has previous experience earning Fight of the Night honours, having done so in a loss to Mike Davis during his initial run with the promotion in 2021.
