Bucs remain in contention in latest power rankings from NFL Media

The latest batch of post-free agency power rankings has the Bucs in the thick of it.

With the NFL re-shuffling itself through free agency, we now get to see what folks think of teams that re-tooled for the 2026 season. Some teams, like the Las Vegas Raiders, were very active as they get ready to draft Fernando Mendoza to be their franchise quarterback. Meanwhile, teams like the Vikings have been relatively quiet in free agency.

In a new piece developed over the past couple of days, we now get to see where players fit and how they affect the new batch of power rankings. NFL Media's Eric Edholm wrote up the new power rankings and had the Vikings in the bottom tier of them all, being ranked 25th overall. He explained their ranking, writing, "The Vikings have had an odd and uncomfortable March so far, getting noticeably weaker up the middle on both sides of the ball.

Losing linemen  Jonathan Allen  and  Javon Hargrave  hurts the defensive front, and  Ryan Kelly 's  retirement  leaves a hole at center. Receiver  Jalen Nailor 's exit was quietly a big one for a team that needs all the non- Justin Jefferson  targets it can hold on to. Fullback  C.
