Rutgers QB Athan Kaliakmanism will be among those attending the New York Giants' local pro day.

Rutgers quarterback Athan Kaliakmanis is set to participate in the New York Giants ' local prospect day, reports NFL insider Aaron Wilson . Local prospect days allow teams to host and evaluate players from nearby regions or with area ties without counting toward official visit limits. Kaliakmanis, a redshirt senior from Antioch, Illinois, stands 6-foot-3 and weighs around 212 pounds.

He began his college career at Minnesota, where he appeared in 23 games with 17 starts from 2022-2023, completing 216-of-405 passes for 2,784 yards and 17 touchdowns. He transferred to Rutgers in January 2024 and started all 25 games over two seasons for the Scarlet Knights. In 2024, he threw for 2,696 yards and 18 touchdowns on 213-of-395 passing (53.

9 percent). His 2025 performance marked a significant improvement, completing 229-of-368 passes (62. 2 percent) for 3,124 yards and 20 touchdowns with only seven interceptions.
