Next Gen Stats predicts Rams take 1 of these 2 top draft prospects
The Rams can go in a few different directions with the No. 13 pick.
The Los Angeles Rams made a lot of high-profile moves this offseason, but the team still owns a high draft pick, too. What the Rams do at pick No. 13 will be watched closely, as L.
A. is already considered one of the top teams in the league with the ability to add another difference-maker in the draft. There are many different roads the Rams can go down in the draft, but NFL Next Gen Stats put some probabilities on who L.
A. will take at No. 13.
Based on 1,064 mock drafts from Grinding the Mocks , NGS predicts the Rams have an 11% likelihood of taking either Tennessee cornerback Jermod McCoy or USC receiver Makai Lemon with their first-round pick. Now, the McCoy pick may seem unwise after the Rams traded for Trent McDuffie and signed Jaylen Watson, but the Rams would still likely love to have a fourth top-flight cornerback to add to their secondary go along with McDuffie, Watson and Emmanuel Forbes Jr. McCoy missed the entire 2025 season with a knee injury but has the proven skillset to be a great cornerback in the NFL.
