Wisconsin women's hockey's Caroline Harvey was named the 2026 Patty Kazmaier Memorial Award Winner.

Just over 24 hours before the Wisconsin Badgers women's hockey team competes for a National Championship, Caroline Harvey was named the 2026 Patty Kazmaier Memorial Award Winner. Harvey racked up 63 points in 32 games during her senior season. Of those 63 points, 45 came from assists.

The New Hampshire native added 18 goals. Longtime head coach Mark Johnson has now led seven Badgers to this prestigious honor. Harvey is the third defender to ever win the award .

Wisconsin now has a little extra momentum on its side heading into its fourth straight showdown with Ohio State in the National Championship game . The Badgers know they have the top player in NCAA Division I women's hockey on their side, and there's nothing the Buckeyes can do about it. Harvey was one of three finalists alongside Penn State's Tessa Janecke, the same player who scored the game-tying goal in the third period during Friday's Frozen Four contest.

Harvey and Janecke were joined by Minnesota's Abbey Murphy. And the 2026 #PattyKaz Award goes to @BadgerWHockey 's Caroline Harvey! ļæ¼ Details: https://t.
