No. 15 Texas A&M softball clinches its second straight SEC series, taking down Kentucky behind clutch hitting and strong defense at Davis Diamond.

The No. 15 Texas A&M softball team continued its strong start to conference play, clinching a second consecutive SEC series with back‑to‑back wins over Kentucky in front of an energized crowd at Davis Diamond. The Aggies handled business exactly the way a top‑25 program should against an unranked opponent, outscoring the Wildcats 17–3 across the first two games, including a run‑rule victory in Friday’s opener.

One of A&M’s biggest inconsistencies this season has been cashing in with runners on, but the Aggies flipped that script in a big way this weekend. Game 1: Werk's walk-off grand slam ignites the series The opener started quietly with two scoreless innings before the Aggies’ offense found its rhythm, plating six runs over the next three frames to build a 6–3 lead entering the bottom of the sixth. With two runners aboard and Mya Perez standing in the batter's box, Kentucky elected to intentionally walk her—loading the bases for Micaela Werk.

The decision backfired immediately. After battling through an eight‑pitch full count, Werk launched a walk‑off grand slam off the right‑center wall, sealing a run‑rule victory and setting the tone for the weekend. MICAELA CALLS GAME...
